Zipper Pouch Swap-5

Pouch Swap Package

Sooooo…. it’s been a while since I last posted! Life gets crazy sometimes… and last year, we bought a house! Who knew it would be this much work? (What? Everyone knew that except me?). But I have decided I want to start blogging again! So I am going to start with a swap I did last year :)

When I saw the zipper pouch swap on Instagram, I just had to join! I already shared the zipper pouch and the paper piecing pattern I made for the top. You can find the free pattern here! Today, I wanted to share the rest of the package I sent! :)

Zipper Pouch Swap-4For my first extra, I used the Mini Raspberry Kiss Tutorial to make a deluxe pincushion from the book Sew Organized for the Busy Girl! This was my first time making this and I loved it!

Zipper Pouch Swap Tea-2

My partner mentioned she liked tea- so I made her a tea wallet! This way, she can carry a few packets in her purse & keep it organized! I made my own pattern for this to fit the tea packets I sent her.

Zipper Pouch Swap Tea

I lined the wallet with this awesome Alison Glass print! Also pictured: 1 very curious kitty!

Overall, I had a blast creating these! It was outside of my personal style- but I am so happy with how they turned out! :)

Until next time! (Hopefully not another year though!! 😉 haha)

Paperie Tea Wallet, Key Fob, and Basket!

Pretty Paperie!

I loved the fabric line Paperie from the moment I saw it pop up on Instagram. However, the colors seemed a lot softer than I usually use. So I decided to get 1/8 yard cuts from Serendipity Woods on Etsy so I could get a variety of prints without breaking the bank! And it came packaged super cute with a personal note! (This isn’t a sponsored post- I was just super happy to find 1/8 yard cuts on Etsy and the customer service was awesome!)

Paperie Tea Wallet

My first project I made was this cute little tea wallet! I used elastic for a super simple closure!

Inside, it houses 2 tea bags! Perfect way to keep them safe in a purse or backpack!

Paperie-2
Paperie Pixie Basket

Next, I decided to make a pixie basket using the tutorial from Fabric Mutt! It was super easy and so tiny & cute!

Paperie-3
Paperie Scrappy Key Fob!

Finally, I used my scraps to make a scrappy key fob! These are one of my favorite quick easy projects! :)

I had so much fun using Paperie! Such a pretty fabric line! And I am giving these 3 away on Instagram! Click the Instagram link in the side bar to find my profile! To win, follow me & comment on the giveaway post with your favorite book! :) I’m drawing the winner on 2/26 at 9pm est!

Until Next Time!
